January 22 (Renewables Now) – Chinese solar manufacturer JinkoSolar Holding Co Ltd (NYSE:JKS) announced today it has supplied 5 MW of solar modules for a photovoltaic (PV) plant that now generates electricity in Greece.

Through an affiliate, JinkoSolar has delivered the modules to Juwi Hellas SA, a unit of German renewables developer Juwi Group, for use as part of the Mesokomo project in the northern part of the country.

The particular solar plant has been commissioned last month and it is owned by local company ETVA VIPE SA.
