Description

MC4 PV Connector is to make the wiring easier and establishing fewer connections. This Connector is providing a type of connection for solar panel which consists of a female and a male connector. This female and male connector is a plug and socket design respectively. When these two are pushed together, they form an interlocking connection between themselves. This connection will not disconnect when the cables are pulled out unintentionally. There are mainly five components involved in the composition: – the main housing, a metal crimp contact, a rubber water seal, a seal retainer and a screw on end cap. It is enduing an IP67 waterproof and dust proof safe electrical connection.

When disconnect the MC4 Solar cable, press the tabs to unlock and pull. Sometimes it require a spanner tool to disconnect. These standardized PV Connectors offer secure serial and parallel cabling of modules in solar photovoltaic systems.
